Paris is undoubtedly one of our favorite cities, it stole our hearts from the very first time we visited it. In every corner, you can breathe art, culture and refinement. For our second time in the capital of France, we chose the Balmoral Hotel as starting point for our stay. The hotel is hosted in a building dating back to nineteenth century, characterized by an elegant and refined style, where the French tradition meets the modern art. The reception has two wide lounges where you can relax reading a newspaper or tasting some good wine, before entering the chaotic Parisian routine.

The boutique hotel has a truly enviable location. It is without a doubt the ideal starting point to visit the city, being located only 100 meters away from the Arc of Triumph and a few minutes’ walk from the Charles De Gaulle-Étoile stop, an essential junction to reach all the most important tourist attractions. Despite being in the center, right next to the Champs Élysées, it is not noisy as it is located on a quiet and pretty side street.

The hotel has 50 rooms and suites, plus 2 apartments, all equipped with every comfort. The style is classic and refined, but at the same time modern and harmonious. The balconies in forged iron, characterized by Parisian style of nineteenth century, are in contrast with paintings of contemporary French artists hung on the walls. We stayed in a spacious and bright suite on the sixth floor. Both the living room and the bedroom have a fabulous balcony from which you can admire the famous and suggestive roofs of Paris.

Another strength of Balmoral Hotel is absolutely the breakfast, which boasts a wide choice of sweet and savory products. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fruit and the quality of pastries (we still dream of their pain au chocolat). You can decide to have breakfast either in the lovely lounge on the ground floor or comfortably in your room. We chose both the solutions. Let us tell you that enjoying all these delicacies in your bed with a view on the rooftops Paris is priceless.

Our experience at Balmoral Hotel has been unforgettable. François and all his staff made us feel at home. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Anne Claire who has pampered us and satisfied all our needs with professionalism and sympathy. If you plan to spend a few days in Paris, do not hesitate to book a stay in this amazing and comfortable boutique hotel.
